The Baldwin Center for Preservation Development will be housed in a state-of-the-art, environmentally sustainable facility on Bundoran Farm that also serves as the community center and project office. The Center will be an intellectually based institute with a mission to share the lessons and experiences of Bundoran Farm well beyond its boundaries.

The Baldwin Center for Preservation Development is dedicated to the advancement of the most up-to-date techniques in environmental land use, sustainable growth patterns and agricultural preservation; all as demonstrated by the Bundoran Farm project. It will be a gathering place for local and farm related concerns, helping to enlighten, encourage and inform regarding Preservation Development and the practical side of sustainability, environmental action and the role of the farm in modern life.

The Center's philosophy is based upon the fundamental tenet that growth better occurs by incorporating agricultural, natural land and wildlife features within the growth pattern, so that as the community grows, its citizens remain directly in touch with these natural and agricultural uses. In this manner, land and farm preservation is more likely to be perpetually supported by the free market economic system, a primary feature of sustainable growth.

The Baldwin Center is named in honor and memory of Robert Baldwin, Sr, the founder of Qroe Farm Corporation and the innovator of many of the design and preservation concepts used at Bundoran Farm.
